The bathroom shower tray left much to be desired-definitely on the smaller side, which might pose a challenge for those who like a bit more space. Thin walls meant that some early morning activities next door jolted me awake once . Not ideal for light sleepers. The squeaky floorboards added to the charm but did contribute to a few unwelcome early morning surprises as well.

Our room was large and super comfy, with great beds and pillows. Everything was clean, and they even left chocolates on our pillows-nice touch! Lots of little extras, like the homemade treats and daily fresh towels. The only thing I'd change is having a shower box instead of curtains. That would be a real upgrade. But overall, I really enjoyed it.

Oh, those homemade breakfasts were pure magic! Scrambled eggs that could turn your day around and surprise crepes-talk about a treat! Plus, the hosts were a delight. Dished up lovely cakes for our journey home too!
